Artur Lipiński is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science and Journalism, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. He holds an MA in Political Science and Education Studies and a PhD in Political Science. He received a post-doctoral fellowship at Free University of Berlin where he worked on discursive constructions of Europe in Polish political discourse. Further, he has participated in several international and Polish research projects and networks related to the representation of migrants in discourse (MEDIVA) and populist political communication (COST Action). From 2019 to 2022, Lipiński was leader of the Polish team within DEMOS - Democratic Efficacy and the Varieties of Populism in Europe, a collaborative H2020 Research & Innovation project. His research interests are focused on political communication and Polish right-wing politics. He has published in national and international journals on the uses of the historical past in political discourse in Poland and populist and right-wing political communication.
