Jakub Jakubowski is Assistant Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. He holds an MA in Political Science and a PhD in Social Science. He participated in many international courses as well as research and teaching stays in Switzerland, Sweden, France, Greece or Hungary. He was engaged with projects on populism (Populist Political Discourse in Polish Public Sphere), media socialization (Youth Online Functioning (#Yoof) – between creation and translocation), and news sharing on social media (Predicting the Shareworthiness of ‘Real’ and ‘Fake’ News in Europe). Jakubowski is also a manager of Online Marketing and Digital Marketing programs at Adam Mickiewicz University. He has published over thirty books, articles and book chapters about political communication and media studies. Currently, Jakubowski works on studying interpersonal communication behaviour patterns of adolescents.
